The Repeats feature modifies textile designs created in CAD or other graphics applications. Most CAD programs generate PostScript or TIFF, formats that were developed for general purpose printing but not for repeats printing. Even for small designs, large and inefficient files must be sent to the printer. SoftRIP-TX eliminates these problems by accepting a single repeat pattern and efficiently repeating it during printing. Any length can be printed from a small single repeat file. Specialized resampling and halftoning eliminates seams between repeats.

Wasatch's Color Atlas Generator allows you to print sample color patches on a specific textile. You can choose colors based on how they look on actual materials with various post-printing processing steps. Once you've picked a color, it can be reproduced by simply entering the RGB value into SoftRIP-TX or your graphics application.

SoftRIP-TX also provides powerful tools for the control of multiple colorways and indexed TIFF files, and a Color Database for maintaining a "color kitchen" of named entries.
