More than 9 million women have gone online for the first time in the last six months, according to a survey by the Pew Internet & American Life Project.1
The number of orders placed online during the holiday season grew 270% and online retailers saw a 300% increase in revenues over last year. 2
Over $189 million was spent in Motherís Day-related sectors, about 14 times more than last year. 3
Women have overtaken men to become the dominant gender in online shopping as the number of females using the Internet continues to grow at a blistering rate.4
