How To Use Computer Graphics
for Designs on Garments

As presented by Scott Fresener
President of the U.S. Screen Printing Institute

Seminar Overview

Participants will be introduced to the possibilities of using computer graphics to generate artwork for screen printing on garments. Topics to be covered include an overview of software available, hardware requirements, techniques for better designs in Corel Draw and Adobe Photoshop, using outside services for high end designs, communicating with the screen printer for better reproduction of the artwork on a garment, creating spot-color and process-color separations that are screen printable, limitations of the computer and more.

This seminar is designed for all manufacturers, management and retailers with design responsibilities, artists, screen printers and anyone responsible for dealing with screen printing sub-contractors. A basic knowledge of screen printing is helpful but not a prerequisite.

Handout supplement to live lecture with computer demonstrations, sample computer separations and actual printed garment samples.
